Perhaps someone wiser and more “with it” can explain these whippersnappers’ newfangled hairstyle.  This hairstyle looks like a pigeons’ nest formed out of lint balls and half-digested Tootsie Rolls.  I make no claims to be an expert in the ways of fashion or science or anthropology.  But I’m certain that any hostile alien race that observes a human spending hours to perfect this look would assume we lack all cognitive reasoning and invade immediately.
